Welcome

The Northern Lakes Lightning Hockey Association is a pairing of the Pequot Lakes Youth Hockey Association and the Crosby-Ironton-Aitkin Youth Hockey Association.  Both association boards agreed that the primary reason for the pairing is to develop a competitive hockey program.  The associations have paired Squirts, 10U, 12U, Peewees, and Bantams.  By pairing we have larger numbers thus allowing us to have multiple teams of various skill levels.  Both associations run their own mite program with over 100 new and returning players.

The Northern Lakes Lightning is made up of players from the Cities of Pequot Lakes, Breezy Point, Crosslake, Pine River, Jenkins, Crosby, Deerwood, Ironton, and Aitkin.  We are a member of USA Hockey and compete in MN Hockey District 15.  Our home arenas are in Breezy Point and Crosby.
