REGISTRATION DATES!

Wednesday, September 30 and Thursday, October 1
From 3:00pm to 7:00pm
At the Breezy Point Ice Arena

Age: 
4 - 14 years old.  Players must be 4 years old on or before June 30 of the currect registration year.
Ages 15 - 18 play as a sanctioned school sport with a combined area of schools.

Free Equipment: 
Equipment is provided by the association free of charge to all Mini Mite and Mite players and goalies.  (Equipment deposit is required.)  All other levels are responsible for their own equipment.  An equipment swap is being held during registration to sell/buy used equipment.

Jerseys:
The jerseys are provided by the association free of charge to all player levels. (A jersey deposit is required.)

Fundraising:
Each family is required to sell 10 Christmas wreaths.  An option to buy out of the wreath fundraiser for $150 is available.  Participation with the annual raffle sales is required.

Hockey Season:
The 2009-10 hockey season starts October 19 through mid March.  A Fall Hockey Training Program before school is available through the Breezy Point Ice Arena.  The pre-season warm up starts after school September 21 through October 15.  Please reference the calendar for age groups/times.

Parent Involvement:
Parents can become involved with the association in many areas.  Each team needs 2-3 coaches.  All coaches are required to be certified and have a background check.  Team managers assist with communication between association and coach.  Also assist with web site updates for team, district reporting and travel arrangements for tournaments.  A team manager is also required to have a background check.

In the past, PLYHA was required to submit the USA Hockey and MN Hockey fees from players along with with their registration information.  This year, all returning players are required to register on-line with USA Hockey prior to registration.  New association members can register on-line with USA Hockey or at registration.  Computers will be available during registration for new members or those who do not have computers available.

The USA Hockey fee is $30 and the MN Hockey fee is $10.  The PLYHA registration fee will be reduced by these amounts.

1. Go to www.usahockeyregistration.com and click on the "register online" button (right side below national calendar). 
2. Choose member type "Ice Player" or "Coach".
3. You must be 18 years or older to process a registion.  Check the box that acknowledges that your are 18 or older.
4. Select the 09-10 season.
5. Follow the prompts and fill in all data correctly.  The legal name from the birth certificate is required.  Make sure the name entered is exactly as it appears on the birth certificate.
6. The USA Hockey fee is $30.00 and the MN Hockey fee is $10.00
7. Process the payment using a Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express (credit or debit card).
8. Print out your confirmation page at this time.  You must bring this with you when you register in-person.

You must register your child with USA Hockey and MN Hockey on-line prior to in-person registration.  Print out and bring with you your bar-coded confirmation page.  Any child 6-years or under (born January 1, 2003 or later) - does not have to pay either fee - but must still register on-line with USA Hockey.
